Arts Congress, the chance to let Arizona legislators know how you, as voters, feel about the importance of arts and culture in Arizona’s economic success and day-to-day life, is Thursday, Feb. 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the State Capitol.

This once-a-year opportunity to meet face-to-face with your elected officials is critical in Arizona Citizens for the Arts’ advocacy efforts to support state funding of the Arizona Commission on the Arts, and arts education in our K-12 schools.

Individual registration is $30, and sponsorships for organizations and small businesses are $130 and include registration for four people.   The event includes advocacy training, workshops, lunch on the lawn and entertainment and demonstrations by local arts groups.

Arizona Citizens for the Arts staff will schedule meetings for advocates with your legislators and will provide online trainings and briefing materials ahead of the event and onsite.
