Time is growing short to submit a nomination for the 2016 Governor’s Arts Awards. All nominations are due Friday, Dec. 11.

Awards will be presented in seven categories to individuals, businesses and organizations that have made substantial and outstanding contributions to arts and culture in Arizona.

For the first time, the business category has been split into two categories, one for small businesses with 1-99 employees and another for businesses with more than 100 employees.

Winners will be announced at the Governor’s Arts Awards dinner and celebration, March 23, 2016, at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, 340 N. 3rd St.

Since 1981, more than 175 artists, individuals, arts and cultural organizations, educators and businesses have received Governor’s Arts Awards.

Your nominee could join the prestigious list of past nominees in 2016.
