The membership cycle is from July 1 thru June 30. All memberships expire June 30 of each year. 

  • Membership Dues

    Dues are calculated to be less than 1% of an organization's annual operating budget.

    Dues are calculated using the “Total Eligible Budget” as reported to the Arizona Commission on the Arts during its annual public evaluation process for grant applications or as reported to Arizona Citizens for the Arts previously.

    Your membership with Arizona Citizens admits you to a strong coalition and comes with some great benefits that include discounted pricing on Governor's Arts Awards tickets and tables

    Make sure to use the membership contact's email when checking out, as this will become your user login, which will allow you to access special content and discounted pricing.
  • From time to time, we have occasion to contact our members' marketing department for images, event information and material as well as newsletter content.
  • As the only statewide advocacy organization in Arizona, we are committed to informing the public of important matters occurring at the legislature through grassroots notifications that allow individuals to contact their legislators.

    Together we can accomplish what individual arts and cultural organizations cannot. Through solidarity and collaboration, we can affect policy, funding and perceptions in the arts and culture sector. We rely on the involvement of our members in these efforts to have the greatest impact throughout the state.
    Benefits include: Four (4) admissions to Arts Congress 2019 at the Arizona State Capitol on January 22, 2019. Your organization’s name will be listed as an event sponsor on our website and in collateral materials distributed to attendees and legislators. We will invoice you separately.
  • The Arizona Citizens for the Arts Board always meets at a different location provided by our member organizations.

    Meetings occur 6 times per year, always on a Wednesday and range from 10 - 25 people. Please indicate if you are able and willing to host a meeting.

    Selecting this option indicates your ability to host a meeting, but does not obligate your organization.

  • We are always looking for engaging photos to use on our website and in our marketing collateral that illustrates what we support and advocate for. We will always credit your organization when using your photos. By uploading your photos, you are giving Arizona Citizens for the Arts permission to use them on our website and in e-communications. We will contact you if we would like to use your image in print.
