A collaboration between Center Dance Ensemble and the Herberger Theater, this scholarship competition showcases talented Arizona artists (ages 15-19) in the disciplines of Acting, Dance and Voice. During an audition process, 12 finalists are selected to compete in the Finals in front of a live audience at the Herberger Theater. The winners receive a $1,000 scholarship to help further their education in the arts.
Arizona Broadway Theatre (ABT) is sponsoring an additional $1,500 scholarship for one participant. The winner will be selected by a panel of ABT judges and offered an opportunity to perform with its professional cast in a Main Stage production.
Plan to support the talented competitors as a member of the Finals audience. Vote for your favorites in the “People’s Choice Awards.” Winners in each discipline receive $100. Tickets are $10 general admission / $5 students (with id).
Park for $6 at the Arizona Center (Fillmore/5th St.). Purchase validation at the Herberger Theater Box Office before the Finals.
