The 3rd annual Hats Off to Heroes Tribute to American Veterans will take place on Saturday, November 12^th at Reid Park. The free event, presented by the City of Tucson will begin at 10am with a 5k Fun Run open to all ages. In addition to military displays and veteran resource centers, there will also be a food truck round up and live music provided by some of Tucson’s top musical groups throughout the day.   At 5pm, Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild will give the official welcome and recognize the personal sacrifice Tucson members of the military have made for our nation.

The Tucson Pops Orchestra takes the stage at 5:30pm to wind up the day with a fantastic show featuring patriotic tunes, music from WW II and special performances by The American Bombshells, a modern day twist on the Andrews Sisters –a popular singing group in the 40’s and 50’s.  The evening will conclude with a dazzling firework display immediately following the concert.
