The classical composers have shared the silver screen with the biggest stars in Hollywood for decades. Their music has scored Academy Award winning dramas, blockbuster action flicks, science fiction classics, and romantic comedies. For the first concert of the season, ProMusica Arizona is going to the movies with selections from classical masters such as Brahms, Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Debussy, and Berlioz. Their compositions have been featured in the motion pictures: Apocalypse Now, The Big Lebowski, The Shining, The King’s Speech, Philadelphia, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The American President, Runaway Bride, Face/Off, Batman Begins, Excalibur, and many others!
